The first inklings of Truckstop’s disturbing(ly sexy?) origin! More soon. I’m trying to stay as close as possible to my planned update schedule, and there actually is something like a plan for these comix now, so stick with it.

The hopefully auspicious debut of what I plan to be a major new character. Next installment planned for Wednesday.
I figured I’d post this since it’s closer to the way that I originally drew it, and I’m actually not sure if this looks better colored or not. The reason I colored it, or one of the reasons, is that this is meant to be part of the cover for an upcoming issue that I’m working on. It’s supposed to be called Damaged Goods, and I’ll post more about it soon.
I put together this new version of an older drawing for this last Wondercon, which went pretty well by the way. I’m told the panel I appeared on was filmed and will be on YouTube, so I’ll see about posting that here as it comes up.
For anybody out there who thinks that this comic is too graphic or goes too far, rest assured: it’s actually the start of an ongoing storyline. Maybe I can get some sort of XTube sponsorship deal going here…
This comic, of course, was originally meant to be posted sometime in early January, and as that date passed I considered not finishing it or using it, but as it started to look like the date when I’d start posting new comics on here again was going to be this late in the year, the comic took on a new meaning for me and started to feel like an appropriate metaphor for the drama that’s kept me from posting more for the last several months. Plus, I still felt like it was funny, and there’s a subtle hint in there about where the relationship between Rickets and Prester the bear will be going. New comic should be up on Wednesday, so check back!
